there is a lot of resemblance in terms of features and design. The phone is quite light in weight as there is almost no use of metal in the body of the set. It is made completely out of plastic.
Talking about the body of the mobile, it is completely made of plastic which feels rather uncomfortable in the hands and looks a bit cheap as well. The design is not too different from its sibling the Wave Y. The display of the mobile is rather average with 3.65 inch TFT Capacitive screen having a resolution of just 320*480(165 ppi). The resolution is the same as Wave Y but screen has been enlarged, leading to pixelated screen. Images and text appear pixelated and looks pretty ordinary.
Wave M is running the modified version of Bada along with Samsung's Touch wiz UI, so people who are switching from Android will not feel uncomfortable as the Touch Wiz UI is the one used in all Samsung's Android phones.
The Wave M is running on an 832 MHz chip which is the same as the Wave Y. Clock Speed is okay for a Bada mobile phone but there is an occasional lag in the working of the phone. Also, it shows signs of load while running heavy apps but runs smoothly running light apps.
It has been provided with a 5 MP camera at the back supported with an LED light. The quality of the images captured from the camera is not that flash and the video is also only average at best. There is also a front camera for video calling.
Looking at the big picture, Wave M is a decent update of the low end Wave 723 but still it has its limitations when put against today's Android generation of mobile phones.The display of the phone is one of its biggest disappointments with the pixelation that occurs in the screen. Bada's modified version is decent and can be said as the face saving feature about this phone.
