SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 10.1 to reach the shelves by Q2, 2012

SAMSUNG have officially announced that the Galaxy Note 10.1 will be in the markets by Q2, 2012. Actually, this move is inspired by the tremendous success of the Galaxy Note. The note was a big hit, so SAMSUNG decided to launch a tablet with the feature of the S-Pen.

The tablet has a giant 10.1 inch PLS TFT display with a resolution of 1280*800 pixels. The tablet is running on 1.4 GHz dual core Samsung Exynos processor. It has also been provided with micro SD card slot to enhance the memory of the tablet. It is running Android v4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich). The interface of the device is standard with Samsung's Touchwiz UI.

It has a 3.15 MP back camera which is capable of capturing HD videos up to 1080p. There is also a front 2 MP camera in case you decide to go in for video calling. I personally am not a big fan of cameras in tablets and 3 MP can also be considered on the lower side.

The most promising feature of the Galaxy Note 10.1 is the S-Pen. It has been brought to tremendous use by the tablet with a bunch of apps supporting the S-Pen like the Photoshop, S Suggest, Readers Hub, Video Hub, Game Hub, Music Hub, Chat On and many more. It is a complete gem in terms of image editing. The S-Pen along with photoshop make a wondrous combo in terms of photo editing and designing. The S-Pen provides an excellent utility and makes a quite tedious task of image editing rather easy.

It has different versions in terms of memory viz. 16, 32, 64 GB and a microSD card slot for expanding the memory further up to 32 GB. The note tablet has everything for everyone, let it be children, youngsters, officials or anyone for that matter. The device is a mix of the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 with the best of both of them.
