Talking about the OS, the phone is powered with Android 2.1(Eclair) which upgradeable to 2.2(Froyo).OS is quite decent and the phone adds to the list of Android phones from HTC. The OS is quite good and provides an attractive interface to the phone. The Android store is one of the biggest advantages of Wildfire as a huge variety of apps are available to download from the Android market.
The phone is running on its 528 MHz chip which can be considered a little low considering the Android which is quite bulky in itself. This makes the phone quite jarry and the touch being TFT Capacitive doesn't help either to the inconvenience in operating the set. The set hangs sometimes and the touch has a significant lag at times.
Wildfire is equipped with a 5 MP camera having auto-focus and LED flash along with it. Presence of Auto-focus and LED flash aids in the operation of the shutter. The pics are of decent quality and its also capable of video recording of decent quality. The phone is devoid of a secondary camera which prevents the use of full potential of 3G in this phone.
Overall, this phone has its pros and cons but considering its price range, this phone is not a bad choice. Its not a high-end phone but provides satisfaction to a consumer who is looking for a low price Android. There are certainly better Android phones available in the market but this phone is worth its price
