HTC TITAN can be truly regarded as a giant. The phone has some size. With its 4.7 inch screen, it justifies its name quite aptly. The phone has a solid build and a luxurious design. The metallic casing provides it with a nice and glossy finish.
The display of the screen is also quite decent but it could've been better. The 4.7" screen with a resolution of 480*800 pixels looks quite good but pixelation occurs when the images or text are zoomed. The capacitive touch is quite decent and the screen is responsive.
TITAN is powered by a 1.5 GHz processor which grants it amazingly fast speeds. There are no problems of lags or hangs in the phone. Along with its 512 MB RAM, apps run smoothly on the TITAN.
TITAN runs on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. HTC enhanced Mango looks quite good running in the TITAN and runs pretty smoothly as well. Some apps are available in the phone itself but if you want more, they can be downloaded in Windows Marketplace.Entertainment is a key feature of Windows Phone, with great Zune integration, Smart DJ, and access to tools and information in Xbox Live, so you can customize your 3D avatar, track achievements, and discover new games.
The camera is one of the pros of the TITAN. It has an 8 MP camera at the back and a 1.3 MP front shutter as well. TITAN is also equipped with a dual LED flash and a backside-illuminated sensor (BSI) for good low-light performance. The picture quality is quite good and the it is also capable of recording videos up to 720p. Indoor shots were a little dark for comfort but it is not something to moan about.
To sum up, TITAN is a pretty good set running on updated Windows Phone. The phone has some interesting features and provides good multimedia experience with a good camera and a fast processor. If you are looking for a decent Windows Phone set, this should be definitely in your list.
