The body of EVO 3D is pretty decent an attractive. The curves and the textured back fit nicely into the hand and the phone feels comfortable to hold and use. The display is also very good with 3D LCD display with a resolution of 540*960 pixels. It also possesses the latest version of HTC Sense UI.
Talking about the processor, it has a dual core 1.2 GHz chip which gives it good speeds and the 3D part also becomes quite smooth. Along with its 1 GB RAM, there are no real problems of crashes and lags in the phone.
The phone runs on Android 2.3(Gingerbread) and provides a very good interface to the phone. On its dual core chip, Android runs very smoothly and there aren't any problems of crashes and hangs in the phone and the touch is quite smooth and responsive as well.
It contains a 5 MP dual camera at the back capable of taking both 2D and 3D stills and videos. 2D images and videos are of top quality but the same cannot be said for the 3D category. 3D images and videos seem to bulge out of the phone instead of immersive 3D experience. The viewing angle for 3D was quite small as well. With its dual LED flash, the phone takes good quality photos even in low light conditions.
Overall, this is a very good phone and should not be judged on the basis of its highlighted 3D feature. The phone offers a lot as a smartphone as well and has some very decent features and apps.
