The Nokia 700 has a 3.2" nHD (360x640) ClearBlack AMOLED display. AMOLEDs offer unrivaled viewing angles and deep blacks and, at 229ppi, the screen is pretty sharp. The ClearBlack technology does a good job of reducing reflections, which improves outdoor visibility. Early AMOLEDs had trouble with sunlight, but that's not the case with the Nokia 700.
The Nokia 700 marks an important updating of Symbian^3, arriving alongside the Belle update. This OS update is meant to drag Symbian into the present, with an overhaul that Nokia hopes will stop people like us from labeling it hopelessly out of date. There is a clear improvement in the user interface in NOKIA 700 which was next to hopeless in its previous models but still it can feel a bit annoying at times especially browsing through the files.Browsing apps can also be a headache, but since there isn't much in its ovi store, one can easily live with it.
The Nokia 700 does have processor power on its side. With a 1GHz processor, it has more grunt at its disposal than either the Nokia N8 or C7 which run on 680MHz chips. This is impressive as the 700 is cheaper than either. Multi-tasking is very easy to manage too. Just press down on the physical select soft key to bring up the multitasking menu, which shows snapshots of any running apps. Within the main apps menu running apps are signposted with a little dot icon as well. There's no mistaking what is and isn't running here.
It is also provided wit ha 5MP camera on the back with an LED flash. It possesses impressive multimedia qualities and is able to compete with the best with its camera and impressive AMOLED display which possesses an above average brightness quotient. There is also a front camera in case you want to show your face during a call.
Overall, NOKIA 700 provides most of the features in a pretty small size which is one of its main USP. It competes with its rivals Android and iOS with its modified Symbian Belle but again lacks in the quality and variety of apps than its rivals. There is an improvement in the speed with its 1GHz processor which makes it quite smooth and easy to browse. This set is well worth the buy if you ignore its sometimes confusing interface.
