The 4 inch screen of the mobile is TFT Capacitive with a resolution of 540*960 pixels and capable of distinguishing up to 16 M colors.
The qwerty is quite a refreshing experience if you are using only touch based phones. The phone is running on Android v2.3.5(Gingerbread) which is quite surprising as the newer version(Ice Cream Sandwich) is available in the market and was expected in this high-end device from Motorola. Otherwise, the OS looks quite good.
The mobile is running on dual core 1.2 GHz chip along with 1 GB of RAM which removes all the worries about speeds in this handset. The phone has 16 GB of internal memory and is extendable up to 32 GB via microSD card.
The camera also looks quite good. It has an 8 MP back camera and a 1.3 MP front camera along with auto-focus and LED flash. The camera is capable of capturing videos up to 1080p. It also has several other features such as Geo-tagging, face detection, image stabilization.
It seems like a nice phone considering its features and design. We will have to wait for its release in the near future to know more about its capabilities. The opening price of Droid 4 in the market is expected to be around Rs.35,000.
