First of all, talking about the design and display of the phone. Pocket has a traditional bar type design. It would not be wrong to say that this phone reminds us of the pre-smartphone era mobile phones. It has a 2.8 inch TFT Capacitive Touch Screen with a resolution of 240*320 pixels. The resolution is not that great but considering the size of the display screen, it might prove to be quite useful.
Coming to the hardware, the phone houses an 832 MHz chip along with an internal memory of 3 GB. In an era of dual core and quad core mobile phones, 832 MHz seems a little less but at such a low price its a fair deal.
The phone is running Android v2.3 (Gingerbread). As most of the phones releasing nowadays are equipped with ICS, Gingerbread seems a little outdated but considering the price and the specifications of the Galaxy Pocket, Gingerbread starts making sense.
The Pocket is a great low-budget phone with medium to high features. Samsung now have a mobile phone for every section of the society. From the high-end Galaxy S-III to low budget Galaxy Pocket, Samsung has truly shown tremendous variety and flexibility.
